ABOUT BGCA VOLLEYBALL

The Goal with the Boys & Girls Clubs - Alaska Volleyball program is to provide its Members a safe, healthy, fun, and meaningful experience via regularly scheduled practices and games.

 

U10 VolleyKids Division

The seven-week Regular Season will commence on January 21 and conclude March 6, 2020 for the U10 VolleyKids Division. U10 VolleyKids practices will be held Monday evenings with games being held on Wednesday evenings. Games will commence the second week of the season. 

Teams will play 4x players per team on the court (with a maximum of 8x players per team for the season). Teams will play a six-game Regular Season along with a Jamboree scheduled for January 25, 2020.

 

U12 Developmental and U14-U18 Recreational Divisions

The nine-week Regular Season will commence on January 21 and conclude on March 27, 2020 for the U12-U18 Divisions. U12 Developmental practices will be held once per week on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Recreational U14-U18 Recreational practices will also be held once per week on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings as well. Games will be held on Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings and will commence the second week of the season. 

Teams will play 6x players per team on the court (with a maximum of 12x players per team for the season). Teams will play a eight-game Regular Season along with a Jamboree scheduled for January 25, 2020 and a Postseason Tournament scheduled between March 30-April 3, 2020.

 

U14 & U18 Competitive Divisions

The nine-week Regular Season will commence on January 21 and conclude on March 27, 2020 for the U14-U18 Competitive Divisions. Competitive U14-U18 practices will be held twice per week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Games will be held on Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings and will commence the second week of the season. 

Teams will play 6x players per team on the court (with a maximum of 12x players per team for the season). Teams will play a eight-game Regular Season along with a Jamboree scheduled for January 25, 2020 and a Postseason Tournament scheduled between March 30-April 3, 2020.
