The BGCA Basketball: U12 Division is the next stage in a player's development through the Boys & Girls Clubs - Alaska Athletics program.  Teams will continue to play 5v5 on a regulation sized court and 10' height for the rim, but will also experience a more realistic and competitive basketball environment with certain adjustments to the rules which foster player development. Like the U10 Division, practices will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings while games will played on Friday evenings at various Anchorage School District schools throughout the city. The practices:games ratio will be 1:1 with a a total of 8 games scheduled during the nine-week regular season.
