Registration for the 12U Division is now closed.

The BGCA Volleyball: 12U Division will continue with the format established with the 10U Division, but teams will expand to play 6v6 on an appropriate sized court and an age-appropriate height for the net. The larger space will allow for a smoother transition from our 12U Division into the 14U-18U Divisions. At this level basic skills will be reinforced and additional skills are taught. Most teams stay with basic rotations, but begin to teach positions such as setter, hitter, and defensive specialist. Practices will take place on either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings while games will played on Thursday or Friday evenings at various Anchorage School District schools throughout the city. The practices:games ratio will be 1:1 with a a total of 6 games scheduled during the seven-week regular season.
